First crore

When do I get to ₹1 crore?

Set a target and find the monthly SIP that reaches it, or the years it takes at the amount you can afford today.

Stretch the horizon by five years and the instalment drops to ₹10,009. Time is the cheapest input you have.

Instalment
Flat, with no annual step-up
Target
In today's rupees unless you inflate it yourself

What it does not account for

  • Inflation on the target itself. A crore in twenty years buys roughly what ₹31 lakh buys today at 6% inflation.
  • Tax on redemption, which reduces what actually reaches your bank account.
  • Any step-up in the instalment. Use the SIP calculator to see how much a 10% annual increase changes the horizon.
  • Money you already hold. Subtract its future value from the target before reading the required SIP.

A number is not a plan.

The calculator tells you the size of the gap. Closing it takes a scheme selection, an allocation and a review schedule.
